About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Quality Assurance Analyst to join our growing software development testing team on a part-time basis. As a member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will work closely with SR. Quality Assurance Team member and other testers to identify, test, and document software defects, helping us deliver high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Execute test cases and scripts to identify and report defects.
Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing, including smoke, functional, regression, integration and Build Verification testing.
Document and track defects using a bug tracking system.
Collaborate with Sr. Quality Assurance to understand and reproduce defects.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and deductive skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication (English) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with software testing or quality assurance.
Knowledge of basic software testing methodologies.
Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
Compensation:
Compensation for this part-time Associate Quality Assurance Analyst position is an hourly rate of $15 to $25 ( up to 20 hours a week) depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime pay is available at a rate of time-and-a-half.

Responsibilities:
Create / Run / Update smoke, functional, regression, and performance test plans/scripts.
Perform focused creative testing based on assigned test cases to provide feedback
Report defects, including complete steps, identification of root cause, and expected results into appropriate bug tracking software
Regress previously identified issues in order to verify defects have been addressed and are no longer occurring
Review and validate new app features against requirement specifications and design documents, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
Provide detailed, concise, and accurate feedback directly to Sr. QA analyst.
Create and collaborate with other QA team members to ensure a consistent and thorough review process for all new features and app releases.
Perform ad hoc testing of new features to quickly identify any critical issues or usability concerns.
Perform regression testing when significant changes are made to existing features or when tickets are resolved.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, XCTest).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Knowledge of API testing and automation.
Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
Compensation:
Compensation for this Senior Quality Assurance Analyst position is an hourly rate of $20 to $35 ( up to 40 hours a week) depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime pay is available at a rate of time-and-a-half.
